The Planetary Consortium is a committee of the richest and most influential hypercorps that works together to facilitate trade and interoperability. Most members are monopolies in their fields and therefore don't directly compete with each other in most fields (although they still quite often compete in expanding markets). They work to enforce their laws across sectors and control their Intellectual Property. The also have an army for mutual protection.

What counts as a police force in the Planetary Consortium. They mostly focus on enforcing corporate IP rights, but will also handle civil disputes. They are also used to weed out embezzlement, fraud, and unionizing.

Gorgon Defense is the primary military and defense contractor. They manufacture weapons, vehicles, sensors, and other defense technologies. They provide the bulk of the planetary consortium military as well as private security.

Formerly Stellar Industries, the founder declared himself a prophet and established the Church of the Stellar Flame. This corp provides generous pay and benefits, but has a required tithe from all employees. They are known for being very insular and even have an militarized inquisition security force.

A group of minor corps attempting to reboot a traditional government in space. They manage to hold their own, but are bogged down by bureaucracy and the inability to truly compete with the unrestricted hypercorps.

A collective of smaller corps following anachro-capitalist ideals and maintaining independence from the planetary consortium.
