Victor was born as an unpriviliaged low class citizen on Velt. His parents being wage slaves and drug addicts, he quickly had to learn how to fend for himself. He learned how to use words to get what he needed from those who were bigger and stronger than himself. He cut all ties with his family and left home when he was fourteen.

Victor's skills at manipulation helped him greatly in the slums of Velt. He learned people were willing to pay a great deal for certain information. He became a information broker dealing in peoples secrets. His dealing eventually got him the attention of a powerful corporate executive who took Victor in as his protege.

Victor rose quickly through the corporate ranks. His wealth and success even brought him a familiy, not that he ever paid them much attention. His ambition was such that he buried himself in his work, earning powerful friends and even more powerful enemies. Eventually, even his mentor realized that Victor would never be satisfied until he was on top, and started to plan against him.

The betrayel was swift, but not unexpected. Victor found himself penniless and far from home. He had prepared for such an event though. Using the secrets he had aquired and the connections he had formed, he partnered with some “privateers”. Using blackmail, “extreme negotiating”, and practices of questionable legality, he built up his own empire, returned triumphantly to Velt, and saw his old mentor crushed finicially and prehaps also physically.

Despite his success, Victor still faces firece competition from all sides. Uniterested in his own wealth, Victor's drive is to establish and enduring legacy and altering the course of history, preferably for good. He wants to leave behind something of value for his family and all the worlds to remember him by for generations. That is the only way to achieve immortality.
