The Planetary Consortium is a committee of the richest and most influential hypercorps that works together to facilitate trade and interoperability. Most members are monopolies in their fields and therefore don't directly compete with each other in most fields (although they still quite often compete in expanding markets). They work to enforce their laws across sectors and control their Intellectual Property. The also have an army for mutual protection.
What counts as a police force in the Planetary Consortium. They mostly focus on enforcing corporate IP rights, but will also handle civil disputes. They are also used to weed out embezzlement, fraud, and unionizing.
